How do I get into the facility?

It’s easy and fully automated. When you approach the door, click the ‘Reservation’ tab of your Pickleville CT app and select your appointment. Tap the ‘Unlock Door’ button, and the door will unlock for you. The ‘Unlock Door’ button will appear 10 minutes before your reservation begins and will be active for the entire duration of your reservation.

How long can I stay at the facility?

You can access the facility between 10 minutes before and 5 minutes after your booking. We ask that you be courteous to other customers by leaving the facility when your reservation has ended. Our security team will charge penalties to those who significantly overstay and ignore voice downs.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No. We have house paddles and balls in the facility, which are available to use free of charge. You should, of course, feel free to bring your own equipment if you want to.

Can I bring guests?

Yes, up to 6 people may use the facility as part of a single reservation. We ask that you invite your guests through the app or website and that each of your guests create their own account (they should also be sure to sign the waiver). You can even use the app to split the bill among your guests automatically. Guests who are not actively playing should make use of the available seating so that they do not get in the way of customers using other courts.

Do you have drinks or food?

Yes, we have a beautiful cafe that sells made-to-order drinks and a selection of snacks.

Is there a shower?

No, we do not have showers or locker rooms in this facility.

Can I pick a preferred court?

Yes, you can select a court on the 'Order Summary' page of the app before finalizing your payment. There will be a drop-down menu to pick your desired court, provided that it has not already been selected by another customer. The default is 'auto-assign,' which means the system will pick a court for you by the time you enter the facility.

Can I extend my time?

Yes, you can extend your court time as long as it's available after your initial reservation. To do so, please go into the app and follow the standard booking process. It is possible that you may have to move to a different court if the specific court you are on is already booked for the subsequent period.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, you can easily cancel your reservation from the 'Reservations' tab by clicking 'Cancel Reservation.' There is no charge to cancel a reservation within 10 minutes of booking it or at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged for the court time in full. If you feel there are extenuating circumstances for a late cancellation, email us at info@picklevillect.com.

What happens if I run over my allotted time?

If you stay on the court more than 5 minutes past your reservation, our security team will contact you via the screen on the side of the court. If you ignore them, the system will automatically charge you for an additional hour. Please make sure you clear the court when your reservation is finished.

There is an open court next to us, can we use it?

You may not use any court without a reservation for that court. Jumping courts will result in a fine.

Am I allowed to have a paid coaching lesson at with a Coach who is not on the Pickleville coaching roster?

No, this is not permitted. Pickleville coaches were heavily vetted prior to being hired, and all of them are fully certified and insured. Bringing in an outside coach puts you, the coach, and Pickleville at risk of harm.

If I am a pickleball coach, but not on the Pickleville coaching roster, can I book a court and give a paid coaching lesson?

No, this is not permitted. If you are interested in using Pickleville's venue to coach students, please reach out to us and inquire about being added to our coaching roster.

Is smoking, vaping, or alcohol allowed?

No. Neither smoking nor vaping is allowed in the facility. Our security team will charge up to $500 penalties to those who smoke or vape inside the facility, and your account may be suspended. Pickleville does not serve alcohol, nor are customers permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the premises.

What are the penalties for breaking the rules?

Our security will charge penalties for infractions. The penalties vary depending on severity and will escalate after ignored voice downs or repeat infractions. The following is a list of infractions that carry penalties:

  • Significant overstaying – up to $250
  • Bringing more than the allowed number of guests for an extended period of time – up to $400
  • Smoking or vaping – up to $500
  • Bringing and consuming alcohol – up to $500
  • Ignoring voice downs and reminders in general – up to $500
  • Breaking or mistreating equipment – no limit and account suspension
  • Showing disrespect to other customers – account suspension
What are your peak hours?

Weekdays: 4 pm to 10 pm, Weekends: 8 am to 10 pm.
